Travel to ischia
Ischia is located in the Gulf of Naples and can be easily reached by ferry or hydrofoil from Naples. The closest arrival point for most participants is Naples International Airport – Capodichino, followed by a transfer to the Port of Naples and then a sea connection to Ischia.
The conference venue, Hotel Continental Ischia is a 15-minute walk from the Ischia port, or you can get there by taxi (stop in front of the landing pier), or by bus (lines CD, 5, 6; Ticket price on board: 2.20 euros).

From Naples Capodichino Airport you can reach by taxi Molo Beverello wharf for hydrofoils and Calata Porta di Massa wharf for ferries to Ischia. It is recommended to consult the timetables, in order to choose the most convenient embarkation pier (www.caremar.it, www.medmargroup.it, www.alilauro.it). Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa wharfs can be reached also by the Alibus public service (departures approximately every 15 minutes. The price is 5 euros, and you can pay the driver directly on board).

From Naples Central station you can reach Beverello wharf for hydrofoils and Calata Porta di Massa wharf for ferries by taxi or by metro (Linea 1- Beverello wharf metro stop: Duomo; Calata Porta di Massa metro stop: Municipio). It is advisable to consult the timetables in advance, in order to choose the most suitable embarkation pier (www.caremar.it, http://www.medmargroup.it, www.alilauro.it).

For the port of Naples
After the Caserta-Sud tollbooth, continue on the Autostrada del Sole towards Naples until the “Napoli Centro Porto” exit. Enter the port following the signs for “Imbarco Traghetti” and reach Calata di Porta Massa wharf (ferries to the islands).
– For the port of Pozzuoli
After the Caserta Sud tollbooth, continue on the Autostrada del Sole towards Naples and take the ring road (tangenziale) towards Pozzuoli, to be followed until the “12 Via Campana” exit. From here follow the signs to the port.
